Settings are 2 players tiny map.
I'm choosing Franks.Random civ for ai.
2 houses,1-6 sheep 7-10 wood(with lumber camp) 11 boar 12 house then mill 13-15 berries 16 boar 17-20 wood at a different lumber camp and go up with 21 pop.No tc idle time.
Barracks with 2 vils at 60% to feudal and stable as soon as feudal completes then blacksmith.I make 5 scouts first to raid and then add 2 more one by one as they die.I also get scale barding as soon as blacksmith completes.
I usually get 5-6 vil picks with my scouts and a few Archer and skirmisher picks before withdrawing.
As for eco I end up with 14 farms 20 on wood and 6 on gold,go castle with 40 pop and wheelbarrow.I also research double bit axe soon after hitting feudal.
As soon as castle upgrade starts I start dropping 2 more stables and 2 archery ranges.I start creating skirms from both ranges and research fletching(this is because of the army the AI creates in castle)
Also I mostly have extremely little tc idle time in feudal(because of scout micro)
As soon as I hit castle I create 5 knights, research chain barding.Make 2 new tcs at the lumber camps.The new tcs produce bills which make farms and go to wood.From the original tc I send vills to gold and stone(usually have a 2:1 ratio of vils on gold:stone).I'm still creating skirms and make a mangonel from a siege workshop.Also research bodkin arrow.
I raid with my knights and I end up getting 5-6 vil picks.
Now this is where the problem starts.The ai starts an insane spam of pikes skirms and crossbows.This is followed by Rams and monks.This is why I stick with skirms and knights.Skirms counter pikes archers,knights kill rams and pikes.Im not really sure what to do about the monks though.The battle continues,I'm doing quite well,but then I suddenly run out of some resource.Food wood or gold.So my army comp gets broken.I try to salvage with a castle but the opponent's spam is just stupid,there's literally 3 rams arriving every minute.They enter my eco and I'm forced to quit.
I go and check the achievements,and the biggest conundrum exists here.The ai has lower number of resources collected than me in every category by over 1000(except stone).They also have more researches which indirectly means they should have less resources to produce units.But then how am I frickin running out of resources first while AI continues to pour units.I also get all imp upgrades for eco and military which I make.So I'm not fighting with gimped units.But somehow the opponent just doesn't stop making units even though I kill so many.
I also end the game with at least 10 vils more than the ai.More kills and faster feudal and castle times.
So if you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
Also I was able to beat the old aoc AI 1v4 on hard (not bragging)
