Do people pay for Voobly membership?

I think Voobly is an excellent service, however I rarely see anyone paying for it, including some of the very famous top players. So who exactly is paying for Voobly membership, and how does this business survive?

I'd love to know how they're doing, how many people do they employ, are they doing ok as a business. The end of Voobly would heavily damage the AoE2 community. If there's anything we can do to chime in, we should be aware.
