Game crashing question-

Yesterday I played a 3 player match through steam. My son and I were playing on two seperate pc’s and my cousin was the 3rd player playing at his house. My son and I both have the expansions but my cousin does not. About 2 hours in the game crashes simultaneously for all three of us. Was this just bad luck? I’m hesitant to play again if it’s a recurring thing...
