Archer line meta and the problem of Cav Archers and Unique units in this meta.(need some editing and corrections)

This is a global problem that includes every civ and prevents other strategys to be viables.

the meta general problems

1)units cost, archers are very cheap because they cost wood instead of food.

1)units upgrades, on archers you dont need bloodlines

2)meele pathing

4)the disvatage of mobility in early game doesnt really come in because you can produce from 2-3 archery ranges before the enemy can afford 1-2 stables

so you are pressure before the enemy and is also you can attack the enemy from outside pallisades which cannot really be avoided because of the maps styles right now.

5)cavalry is designed to be strong and fill a special unit roll but it need to be produced from the pocket at a later stage of the game because its costs too much in reality i rather have eagles because they are so easy to be produced and fast on upgrades.(nerf el dorado pls)

Lets start with Melee problems:

On top of theres super bug meele pathing and search of new enemies even when performing the adecuate surround, and suffering big loses with the opponent shots before you can even seen them, with archers you have another two potential disvantages, Focus fire and archer defensive clumping.

The advantages of knights should be winning against crossbows but right now isnt the case knights .

Eagles

I also think that its cuestionable that eagles also hit their powerspike to fast in castle without any upgrade they get +3 attack to offset the meele problems that this unit in reality doesnt suffer that much, and in top of it they upgrade to elite faster than paladins i think they deserve two upgrades states in imperial to be in a equal position with twoHandedswords/champions and cavaliers/paladin which are the units that you need to counter it.

I dont like the idea of bringing down the archers instead i like the idea of makin other units better contenders meele line doesnt really need more Los but bigger range of auto targetting which is very buggy and suffer from strange delays.

If those problems are solved its ok to let the archers spot the enemy first and do the first shot when maneuvering in the center of the map. The advantages of knights should be winning against crossbows but right now isnt the case.

Unique meele units with large amounts of upgrades that doesnt do good against archers are automatically disgarded because they are countered in this meta of archers im looking at you silly Cataphract.

One problem behind balances that every unit faces is that archers are secretly op, so that you join the meta fighting archers with archers,

( in the current state of the game pathing is bringing headaches which becomes even worse in games with lag)

or you have units to counter the archer.(hurskarl, eagles)

the creation time its ok its not the thing to nerf this doesnt stop the

+2 bonus againts spearmanline i think it only deserves 1.

the cheap unit cost: costing only wood and gold its pretty big deal on balance due that its easier to obtain than food that enables archer creation while properly booming the eco with multiples tcs or becoming a threath earliers without the big investment in farms.

best line of sight: this gives them another lead to maneuver in the map and get favorable trades.

Low Frame delay (best unit to micro because of this)
