How to use gold VS Mongols

I usually play non cav or camels civs, and when I'm VS the Mongols (aka Noobs Killers) I usually tend to go full Skirms and halbs. What can I add? Are siege rams even worth VS mangudai? Champs would be cool VS hussards but they look to get trashed by mangudai
