Hey guys I am looking for advice about how I can best help my team. I have 2 friends that love to play AoE2 with me, but they are both much better players than me. We are at the point where my friends like to do 3v3 with us against hard AIs. My problem is that I don’t have all the hot keys memorized yet, but I’m also just not that good at multitasking and tend to get stressed/overwhelmed . I do have a pretty good understanding of civ bonuses and build orders.
If I am in the outermost position on the map, I will get obliterated by the AI’s feudal age rush. Usually we play with me locked in the middle position so that I can provide resources and reinforcements. I will usually play Teutons so I can collect relics, create armies of monks, and send gold to my teammates when they need it in late game. Does anyone have other advice for how I can be a good team player with the knowledge that I am just not that good?
