Assuming the situation of CA plumes vs huskarls: Plumes have +1 vs infantry, but huskarls have enough pierce armor to reduce the dmg to 0 which gets buffed to 1. Does the bonus dmg still apply? Meaning, which path of calculation (generally for all kinds of bonus dmg/armor classes) is correct:
A) All dmg and bonus dmg vs the corresponding armor classes gets calculated individually, if it would be 0 individually it gets buffed to 1 for each armor class and then added, leading to 2 total dmg in our case
B) The buffing up to 1 only occurs at the very end, which, since the pierce armor exceeds the pierce damage, leads to dealing the 1 bonus dmg only: 1 total dmg.
C) A and B are wrong, in which case, what happens?
