OK so I like to have only 1 or 2 savefiles that I overwrite whenever I make a new game. Just a personal preference to keep it easy to track.
However, I have noticed that it is not possible to overwrite on older savefiles. Usually this seems to be savefiles I made for previous maps.
Now, if this was a feature to prevent accidental overwriting, that would be cool. But it is not a feature and this is how I know why: The game says it is saved and sends me back to the game, but when I check the save is not saved. I can literally lose hours of gameplay, because I keep going thinking that it has saved when it hasnt. Also, every time I resume playing a game I played the previous day, it stops doing autosaving for me.
Either it has to be fixed so it saves properly, or give you an error that you cant save here so you need to make a new one. Anyone else have this issue? My save folder is now cluttered with tons of "dhasuidhasi" type file names because I got to make a new save all the time (just in case) and I cant bother to make a new name each and every time.
IMO this is a pretty serious problem.
