Campaign difficulty

So I haven't really seen a recent answer on this. I have been wondering about the difficulty of the campaigns. I did the Lords of The West campaigns. but I have heard they were ery easy compared to the rest. I've heard that the Vietnamese campaign in particular was very difficult, and am a little intimidated by the Cuman campaign more for the nurfing the civ went through. Are any of the campaigns too difficult for the typical casual aoe player?
