how do i beat the thor rush?

im sick of being 1500-1400 (i fluctuate) ee because of all these thor SMURFS running around and they rush. im used to playing treaty no rush before 20 min games so i can build up and survive against a rush but in ranked supremacy these guys have flooded my base with einherjarls and valkyries by min 5 while ive barely got enough gold to make a temple maybe but even then they just sit on it. It just makes me so depressed about the unbalanced state of the game where anyone can just rush with thor and win, is there even any counter play to this??
