Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you had book recommendations for anything AOE2 civs/units/battles/etc. I’d love to play more but my schedule is pretty busy lately. As an alternative I thought I could at least fluff up my understanding of the history behind AOE2 with some books. Any and all recommendations are welcome, I’ll even pay tribute with my own recommendation below.

Edit: it’s worth mentioning that the books do not have to be about AOE2 gameplay specifically as I’m already trash at multiplayer and no amount of reading will change that anytime soon (been this way since ‘99). I was thinking more along the lines of history books than anything…
