Random Empire 1v1 League - £100 Prize Pool

Hey!

For anyone interested, i am hosting a new AOE2 DE tournament...The Random Empire League.

The Random Empire League is a new concept 1v1 league for Age of Empires 2 DE.

Bringing a mixture of Random Map and Empire Wars, the aim of this league is to have a competitive league available to players of any ELO as league positions are determined by ELO lost and ELO gained vs your opponents as opposed to the standard +3pts for a win, 0pts for a loss etc.

A match consists of a BO3 over the following rotation:

Game 1 – Random Map – Lowest ELO picks map from map pool Game 2 – Empire Wars - Loser of game 1 picks map from map pool Game 3 (if required) - RM - Standard Arabia settings

Map Pools:

Game 1 – Arabia, Arena, Golden Pit, Islands or Mega Random Game 2 – Eruption, Acclivity, Lowland, Marketplace or Meadow Game 3 - Arabia

The winner of the match will be awarded ELO points based on their opposition’s ELO. The loser will be deducted ELO points based on their oppositions ELO. For example, if a 1500 ELO player beats another 1500 player, they will be awarded +16 and the loser will be deducted -16 points. If a 1500 player beats a 1000 player they will be awarded +2 ELO points and the 1000 player -2 ELO points. If the 1000 beat the 1500 player then +/-30 ELO points. You all know how ELO works right... wink

In order to enter, you must have a minimum of 50 Ranked 1v1 Games completed and each account will be investigated to prevent any smurfing.
