Playing on Mac

Hey, so I play AOE2 on Mac using steam and some sort of wine that runs steam. I’m just wondering if I’ll have to find a whole separate version of wine to access steam for AOM or if it would work to just use the AOE steam launcher that I use and select AOM instead of AOE in my steam startup window.

Asking because I don’t want to buy it and find out it doesn’t work

Edit: if it won’t work I’m going to do boot camp but since this is something I already have I’m just wondering if it will work without using boot camp since this is already set up and works
