Some facts and glitches many people don’t know (official patch)

Japanese Shogunate wonder’s age4 bonus gives you 1600 xp. This is likely a mistake because age5 bonus grants the same amount.

When you send India Team Urumi card, your urimis get 20% bonus stats per one teammate who is in age 3 or above. If you have two teammates in age3, your urumi has 160% of base stats (this is equal to age4 upgrade +10%)

Let your Aztec WC die in cover mode, and revive him with the WC dance. He will still maintain ranged resistance bonus from cover mode and move/attack as usual.

Aztec WPs have very high attack (especially after fortress), and their damage won’t be halved even if you use cover mode.

Sending French Team Early Skirmisher allows Port to make veteran cassador in colonial.

Related to above, some vanilla age3 units (cass, cuir, halb, WW, opri, lancer) do not have colonial status, and their veteran status is used as base status. As a result, upgrades on these units are more efficient. This is one of reasons gendermes are so op.

Dutch consulate carabineers (Japan) have dragoon’s status, not ruyter’s status.

It is well-known that French can do insta-cuir, but they can do insta petard as well with the infantry and artillery production speed cards and a church upgrade.

Chinese barracks have a long range of sight like an outpost.

Your units can get in a fishing boat.

If you stop isolation(Japan), you will get permanent -5% damage multiplier.

Some mercs and outlaws from Asian civs have different stats. For example, jaegers have 1.5 multiplier against heavy inf and light cavs, with no negative multiplier against cavs.

Some confusing unit types. Cav archers and bow riders are both “archers” and can benefit from some infantry upgrades (e.g. French team ranged inf card and Seminole native upgrade). Coyote runners and Chinese disciples have “coyote runner” unit type and get countered from dragoons, but tiger claws and rattan shields do not. Instead, they take full-damage from skirmisher attacks unlike other cavs and coyote runners. And, “light infantry” units (not to be confused with skirmisher type units) like eagle runner knights, coyote runners, or tiger claws do not have “infantry” unit type, so lancers or cannons are ineffective against them. But, arrow knights are infantry units, so some cannons are highly effective against them.
