TLC2 (which happened last year) got me interested on DM, but I gave up after a bad experience with a player on my first match 11. I've been trying to play some classic 1v1 green arabia DM games again recently. This game mode is fascinating to me and it's helping to improve my noobish macro quite a bit. However, it seems as if nobody is hosting games, especially for beginners like me (around 1500 rating), and altough I can often get a game in like 15 minutes, it's nothing close to RM arabia games that fill up almost instantly. In the last 24 hours, only 13 games have been played in the 1v1 DM ladder compared to +1000 in RM 1v1. TG are somewhat more popular, but most tend to be Michi games.
I've seen Nili play DM frequently, and Viper has a playlist with high level games. There are some high quality guides on aokheaven and AOEZone, these are helping a lot. What are some other resources for learning DM? Playing vs the AI is any good? Is there any player that streams their matches? Any upcoming tournaments?
