Basically what you do is a standard fast feudal build that plays to the strengths of your respective civ. Archers for britons, scouts for franks, men-at-arms for Japanese, etc.
Advancing to feudal age send 5 villagers with 3 militia to the enemies base assuming it's not a water map. Have 2 villagers mining stone that were moved from berries and basically just start towering and fighting the enemy. Get men-at-arms if you still have healthy militia in feudal age and skip all eco upgrades, just keep minimum vill production and start queuing spear men, archers, scouts, skirms to the enemies base.
Even if your build sucks this strategy can take down most 2K- players on HD just by the craziness and amount of pressure.
You will lose occasionally if the enemy stone walls but your wins will off-set this and you should reach 2K in no time.
