Cool Khmer Fast Imp Strategy

With the risk of sounds like Tocacara, I wonder if this strategy would be at all viable or has ever been tried in a teamgame. Khmer Fast Imp can be done in 20 min or so with clicking Feudal, Castle, then Imp without delay between. This would leave you with no market blacksmith barracks anything which makes being in Imp pretty useless. But what if you had an Italian teammate? Once in Imp at min 20 you could just drop a couple barracks and spam a fairly decent Imperial age unit in the Condo. This seems like coolest and fastest effective fast Imp strategy I could think of because it only requires barracks and of course you'll want a blacksmith. With other fast imps to gunpowder by the time you have ranges, university, chemistry ect. you should be destroyed by knights, xbows, siege whatever.
