Turks are the worst civ in the game

I don't think it's an uncommon opinion, but I feel like that Turks are indeed the worst civ in the game.

They only have two moments, where they shine.

1. Castle drop into jans. Jannies are really strong in Castle Age and hard to conter. The downside is they require a castle and aren't good at raiding.

Imo Congs, Camel Archer and Arambai are way better than jannies, plus their civs are also superior.

1. The biggest power spike is in early imp, with free chemistry.

That's really strong and can steam roll a game, but it has again big downsides. You have to survive until imp, and have enough recourses to do something significant.

Due the lack of cheap conter to archers and cavalry, they have to spend more gold than any other civ to handle them.

If you manage to go to imp faster than the opponent, the countdown begins. If you don't do enough damage to win the game and it leads towards the late game. It's GG, because none of the other 30 civs should lose against Turks in late game.

Frankly Turks aren't fun to play, they feel incredible restricted and I always wish I could play with any other civ instead.

Even on Arena, Turks aren't a top 5 civ anymore. In 1v1 they are the worst and in team games mediocre at best, because they lack power units in late game.

They are an incredible weak civ, without an important niche or an endgame deathball, like Koreans or saracens.

People want a buff for Vietnamese, but they get at least battle eles and have strong archers, but Turks are just not viable anymore.

Just like Franks they need several buffs, without changing their play style to much, to be fun to play as again. The devs did a fantastic Job with Franks. They became a really good b tier civ, so why not give Turks a similar treatment.

Italians for comparison are a very good 1v1 civ, a top water civ and a very good arena civ. They get almost a full monestary, strong archers, strong UU, condos, which are incredibly strong, cheaper gun powder units and on top of that good cavalary. Not to mention they advance cheaper.

Malians are somewhat similar to that.

I don't try to say every civ should be top tier, but the difference is just comically huge. They desperately need a buff, like the Franks did.

Unfortunately I don't see many people in the community, who want that, even if it's pretty much accepted that Turks are a bottom tier civ.
