Played the Age series as a kid. Found SC2 in 2012. Never looked back. Now I'm considering getting into AoE2 HD.
There are a few things that the SC2 scene has that make it so enticing to play and I'm wondering if these things are available in AoE2 HD.
Is there a "competitive scene" with matches broadcast between high level players?
Are there recent / modern tutorials discussing mechanics / strategy / general game theory (think Day9 for sc2)?
Is there a ladder with MMR or how is match making done these days?
Anything else an former player returning from the SC2 scene should know about the game of their childhood?
