Most Effective Drush Strategy?

I am trying to do an effective drush strategy with a batch of militia in the dark age. When given the opportunity to attack enemy villagers at forage bushes, attack villagers who are hunting, or delay villagers gathering wood, which of these aspects of the economy will be most harmed with the militia? Or is there another resource or aspect of map/resource control that I am missing that could be done with the drush?
