Imperial units by definition should be professional soldiers who are employed both at wartime and peacetime. They should receive a very good and selective training.
Imperial camels, due to their combat abilities, i.e., being the most durable units Indians can field, and being a gold costing unit deserve the name.
However imperial skirmishers are just conscripted peasants who are probably good at dodging arrows and had some little training to throw javelins. They are not gold costing units and they are nowhere near the best troop Vietnamese can field.
They are just upjumped cutthroats. Nothing more.
I suggest to rename elite skirmishers to heavy skirmishers to suggest they are better armed and change the name of imperial skirmishers to elite skirmishers to suggest they are better trained. And let's reserve the adjective "imperial" to units that deserve it, like heavy calvary or heavy infantry.
