Organ Gun buff- does it do anything?

Hey regarding the recent buff of the organ gun, where the 4 extra bullets do 2 damage instead of 1... does that really effect anything?

The only thing I can think of that mattering against are unupgraded spears and archers, and like, outposts. Everything else reduces the 2 damage to 1. And you're hardly ever going to have unupgraded units in castle age.

Is there anything else I'm missing, or is that really it?

EDIT: Monks, I guess. But is that all the buff was really for?
