RPG Map Multiplayer Speedrun Challenge (with Prize Pool)

Hello,

I'm thinking about putting up prize money for a speed run challenge on some hero rpg scenario. So tell me if there is any interest to participate in this.

Nothing presented is official yet and might be subject to change if you guys have better ideas.

Challenge info

  • The map played is my latest scenario. It is designed for 2-3 people playing coop on the Titans Edition. Arguably it should be a bit easier with 3 players. Playing nice and slow it takes over one hour, but I imagine 40 and less minutes should be doable. (P4 has to be a Bot)

  • The challenge starts with the first submission (at the time of submission) and goes on for 30 days.

  • Any player can participate as often as he/she likes with the same team or different people/teams playing through.

  • Questions/Hints regarding the scenario will be answered publicly in this thread, I won't help in chats or anything like that. Basic instructions are public with the game file and advert threads and will be linked to here.

  • (Edit) A basic walk through will be provided.

Stream Rules

  • Any submission needs to be recorded to twitch or youtube, since recs don't work on scens.

  • The streamer needs to have the in game timer put on, or put it on within the first minute of game.

  • On stream the streamer downloads the scenario and puts it in the game so that it's unmodified. It doesn't matter if he hosts the game or not since the game would mismatch. Video interruptions between download and game start are not allowed.

  • A speed run is classified as submitted at the time of posting a link to the video. The place of posting will be specified later (might be reddit).

Winning and prize pool

  • The submission with the fastest run wins, the game timer stops at the end with some "You are victorious" screen, so that's the time. If two have the same time, the earlier submission wins.

  • With the first submission the money will be transferred to RTS Staff or somebody who has been responsible for prize money in earlier tourneys. With the fifth submission more money will be transferred.

  • The team wins a total of 30 euros to split evenly among the players (two or three players).

  • If five or more runs are submitted, the prize pool doubles to a total of 60 euros.

If there is enough interest for one team to try, I'm fine with starting it.
