Having trouble with online connection.

I can’t really join games online, only host them. I tried trouble shooting but overall gets a little more technical than my knowledge of pc’s goes. I love this game and haven’t played since middle school (in college now). So, if someone is godly and all knowing wants to help a lad get back into an old favorite via discord call you’d be a real one. Please, help me believe there are still good people online.
