How can i counter belgian elephants????

I was playing a ffa and suddenly i see like 8 elephants storming my walls, i intending to defend, i sent all my troops and got completly annihilated, i sent artillery, infantry and some cav, but nothing, they were moving walls, so my question is, Is there any way to kill them? if not, any game with belgians are going to be gg.
