I used to play AoM alot and I have recently got back into it, it currently runs on a single core on my pc. Is there anyway that I can make it run on more cores?

I used to play AoM alot and I have recently got back into it, it currently runs on a single core on my pc. Is there anyway that I can make it run on more cores? I am running on a xeon e3 1240 v2 and a gtx 1650super. During a single player match with all 11 AI's teams my fps drops to around 20fps. My gpu is not the issue and I think it might just be the way the game is coded to only run on a single core.
