It is not. I was foolish enough to believe that myself for the first two months of playing it, but lately almost every single game I get either an opponent or an ally trashtalking. I really enjoy this subreddit, but to everyone who says that AOE community is predominantly mature, I am sorry but I must disagree.
Needed to get this off my chest. Enjoy the new patch everyone.
