I have already finished the Jadwiga campaign, but ever since I heard about the cheese possibility in the forth scenario (The Siege of Vilnius) I've wanted to try it. However, I never got around to it until yesterday, when I was disappointed to find out that it was removed in a patch. My question is: why? For me this seemed like a fun way to play the scenario differently, effectively doubling its entertainment potential. It wasn't hurting anybody. It wasn't ruining the game. It still required the player to actively engage with the game end play the scenario out for quite a while.
I somewhat get it with some game-breaking cheeses that enable you to essentially fast-win a scenario, but even then - so what? Nobody is forced to use a cheese. Why not just let people have fun? I think removing all the quirks from the game is a bit of a shame since they give it some of its charm.
