Scorpions counter to 3 archery range Cavalry Archers in expansions? Kappa NoKappa

I just won a game against Jomenall on Voobly WK by massing Scorpions in the castle age when he was going 3 range cav archers as the Magyars. He added some Knights but the scorps just gunned them down. In the expansions, scorps have 7 pierce armor in castle age, so they take 1 damage per hit from cav archers, and therefore they deal lots of damage. The passthrough bolts do so much damage to the massed cav archers.
