Help picking civs & maps for a apartment cup

Hi fellow AOE2 enthusiats,

I need your help. My friends and I are planning on doing a small AOE2 cup tommorrow @ my friend's apartment (inspired by NAC2). So we will pick maps from the NAC2 map pack and pick civs and ban civs & maps.

I am indecisive which to choose. I'm an intermediate player and two of my three opponents are better than me. They know the meta and don't just play casually. I also know the meta and BOs and stuff but am still a bit behind (often when it comes to eco).

I know that they will probably pick Khmer, Goths, Vietnamese, Britons, Franks, Aztecs.

They will probably choose Regicide Fortress. Arabia is always played as first map.

Which maps and civs should I go for? How do I counter those best? I am comfortable with Mayans, Aztecs, Japanese. I rarely use cavalry. I want to go Malay on Tidepool (harbours..)
