Hi guys! Not here for a battle of the fandoms, but rather I'm curious about this game with the DE version coming out soon. I am an avid player of AoE3 and have always heard good things about AoE2. I say "better" in the title because I'm assuming that the majority of the people here prefer AoE2 to AoE3. What are the major differences between the two? What qualities of the game would you say make AoE2 the superior title? I am also a very competitive person and love playing RTS games online in PvP so I was curious about the AoE2 competitive atmosphere. Thanks!
