What if you can 'subscribe' for units? How would it change the game?

Would the game be more fun (for people with lower ELO) if you could subscribe for units? By subscribe I mean you can click on a building and ask to produce a unit continuously, as soon as you have enough resources it queues a unit.

For example, you can have a Town Center and Archery Range producing vills and archers continuously. Say for the sake of argument, you can also prioritize this.

For someone who doesn't care about mechanical skills and only wants to enjoy the Strategy aspect of RTS, could this be more fun?
