Civ you tell yourself you don’t like but end up playing well?

Gotta be Persians for me. Civ’s considered mediocre on Arabia and bad on Arena. Also was never a big fan of their tech tree and heavy reliance on cavalry, but I somehow find myself winning as them more than I expected 11
