I need help with the original age of empires 2 with the resolution

Hi! i have the original dvd cope of age of empires collection edition and i need help with running age of empires 2 in full hd... To correct I DO NOT HAVE age of empires 2 HD. Is there any way of changing the resolution by an config file or what not?
