Hey r/aoe3!
I played AoE3 a lot with my younger brother while growing up. Thing is, we both used Macs at the time. Now, however, I’ve got a new problem: I have a MacBook with AoE 3 installed (and all the expansions), but I can’t play with my friends who are on Windows.
The obvious solution would be to make a partition on my hard drive, install Windows on it, and just install AoE3. I bought the steam version for this reason at the last steam sale. I’ve also tried running AoE3 through a WineSkin, which sort of works, but I can’t get Asian Dynasties to work on it for the life of me. Also, it crashed once or twice.
What do you recommend for playing with some PC people as a Mac user? What have been your solutions?
