My favorite has to be the brumese. Plus 1 to infantry per age advance, free lumber upgrases, and 50% off monastery techs, makes them very versitile and reliable on many maps. Least favorite Veitnamese, no eco bonus and meh archer bonus hinders their speciality plus no tech bonus for said archers. Reveal bonus is decen though.
