I'm pretty new to the game. To give an idea of where i'm at, I have ~15 hrs in the game so far, and am currently unable to beat the AI in any difficulty above standard. AOE2 is very compelling for me. Naturally, I want to learn how to play it at a reasonable level. Is there something I should do first? What is the best way for me to improve? More A.I. games? Jump online? Do tutorials? Watch pros? Or is it hopeless at this point to catch up with the people who've been playing this since 1999?
