2017 has been another exciting year for Age of Empires 2, as well as some amazing tournaments and the amazing community support from everyone who has contributed in keeping this game growing and alive.

Whether you're a new player, someone who's revisited the game after many years or who have been playing aoe2 for as long as you can remember. You are all to thank for the amazing success towards perhaps one of the most timeless and still top selling and played medieval RTS's.

Casters, Top players, Casual players, Admin workers behind the scenes, Map makers, Developers, Modders and Scripters who have made the impossible become possible as well as everyone who's contributed to the game one way or another deserve a huge thanks to keeping the game up to date as well as in general hugely improving the performance.

And here's to 2018 where aoe2 will get even greater improvements and new features.

Most importantly everyone of you of r/aoe2 who frequent here daily or simply lurk as well as those of you who are new year. We hope to see more of you get involved with the community. Especially with the new definite editions coming soon in the future.
