I've switched PC's a few times this year and each time, I try to get HD/Voobly/Compatibily-patch set up from memory. I figure it out, but it's a little challenging each time. I'm not griping that it's too hard-- I get it, there's HD, Voobly, Wololo, Compatibility Patch, Hotkeys, etc. And they really aren't too tough when you look back on it. But if it's enough to be challenging for someone that's done it a few times, it's probably enough to prevent some new people from getting set up in the first place, which is unfortunate.
What I really would have liked during all that was a from-scratch video-- install HD from steam, install voobly, install the compatibility patch (to the correct folder), fix the dependencies along the way, install wololo, set up hotkeys, etc. Again, it's really not hard stuff, there's just enough steps that it's easy to get stuck without a guide. And I'm sure this video exists somewhere already, too-- and it seems like something we'd want every new player on this sub to see.
