Late game Ottoman strategies (Age 3+)

Hi. Ottoman's can be pretty vicious in Age 2. I usually try beat or cripple my opponent at that stage. It works a lot. But when it doesn't, I have trouble in the late game, age 3 and 4. Players will boom right past me and raise a bigger army. What kind of strategies do you guys have for those ages?
