Although they boast very powerful stats, they feel underwhelming in post-imperial age.
These are my thoughts:
The conquistador is a mounted hand cannon without the bonus vs infantry in exchange for mobility and tankiness.
In a post imperial age match where fights are usually at certain points their effectiveness falls off as they can not use their mobility to their advantage.
Although they are still very powerful they are not as effective against infantry as hand cannons, not great against archers, and they fall short to paladins due to the difference in attack speed when the distance is closed.
All in all they are definitely still a powerful unit but they are definitely much weaker than they are in castle age (relative to other units).
Anyone else feel the same way?
