Test it out yourself, a single malay battle elephant with only +1 attack and +1 defense beats 5 eagle warriors with all castle age upgrades, with 10 health remaining.
This is a super hard counter, the eles may be expensive but they are for sure worth it. Ill say it again, a single elephant with only feudal upgrades beats 5 eagle warriors with castle upgrades. Let that sink in for a second.
