How does everyone feel about the enhanced graphics?

I love the idea of an updated version of AoE1 and AoE2. That said, I've watched some videos of the definitive edition and the graphics look fine I guess, but something just doesn't seem right. I think it's the way the units take a split second to turn their bodies-- you can really see it in the cavalry. It makes the units appear clunky and slow to respond. I love the original aoe graphics and the way the units move, so maybe I'm biased. But I would like to see updated graphics that still have that fast moving feel of the old ones. what do you all think?
