How to play Age of Empires: Definitive Edition on win7(Sort of, rather how to keep win7 on the PC)

Like many other people im not a huge fan of win10, rather i keep myself to win7 with almost religious vigor, there for im creating this guide for like minded people. In this guide: How to keep win7 and still play this classic You will need: I) at least 55 GB of free space that can be converted into a separate partition II) a win7 and win10 copy, and a USB(at least 5 GB) or 1 DvD that you can put the win7 copy on

I) To have both win7 and win10 on the same pc you must double install windows7 and then upgrade one to win 10, the reason for this is that Win10 refuses to be installed on a disk that uses MBR, and windows 7 cant boot from GPT, however you can upgrade to win 10 and keep the MBR format. -If you don't already have two create a new partition -you can run diskmgmt.msc(from the search bar in windows menu) if that doesn't work due to "unmovable" files try using MiniTool Partition Wizard

II) -Install a new copy of win7 on the new partition -Put the win10 disk/usb/mount and run it from the new windows, chose the upgrade option -Boot into win10 when its done upgrading and update you win10 until its at least version 1609(?) (you will know when you will have the sufficient version by being able to open the buy button in microsoft store for AoE:DE and not getting the popup that it does not exist) -Uninstall the windows.old(look guide online) -Buy AoE:DE, let it dl, enjoy -turn off Fast boot in win10, set default windows to win7, now you can dual boot win7 and win10 on the same disk, a.k.a. not use win10 for anything other than AoE
