Tip I've not seen: take advantage of the 'attacked' alarm trigger when attacking.

The 'attacked' bell goes off when one unit starts hitting another. When a building is attacked, by multiple units, one warning sounds and then as long as the building is being continuously attacked by at least one unit, no more sound.

There's a cool down of at least ten seconds of not being hit before a new attack alarm triggers.

Using this knowledge, you can divert enemy attention away from areas of the minimap, and impersonate large scale attacks with a few units. Just attack multiple buildings slightly before and during your main assault/raid/petard rush, and the opponent is immediately at a disadvantage when it comes to assessing their map.

It's pretty contextual and has reduced effectiveness at higher elo, but it can be incredibly useful for sneak attacks, and in lategame for setting a few units on a back wall somewhere.

Thoughts?
