I first started aoe3 in 2008, stopped playing in 2011, played a little in 2017, stopped, recently trying to get back into it. Gaming in general is a vile cesspit of maladjusted manchildren, but I don't remember aoe3 being this bad. Lieutenants+ and conscripts->corporals are mostly polite, or just resort to the usual retorts, but I can't believe how vitriolic so many sergs/MSs are these days, is it because they're just short of the lieutenant rank they covet therefore anyone below them is an affront to their existence? I'm starting to see why people stray away from this game relative to previous titles.
