I've seen this done a couple of times. Most recent was on arena vs very good Britons and Goth. The Britons player massed about 40 arbs, placed them within range of where the fighting was happening, and put them on a very tight back-and-forth patrol, so they became very clumped together.
It's very common for people to do that with idle units, but I rarely see it with units in action. Is there some advantage to doing this?
