As a newcomer to spectating AOE2, it seems like there are a lot of good tournaments out there (ECL, NAC, Battle of Africa, etc.) but it's hard to tell which is most "prestigious", especially going back in time. A World Championship, similar to chess, would formalize the whole tournament scene in my opinion. Is this something anyone's looked into? Good idea, bad idea?
