I've been playing with a friend 2v2 against two random moderate AIs on Black Forest (me as Spanish, he as Magyars) and they keep unequivocally destroying us.

It always goes like this: we get quickly to the feudal age (I follow Zero Empires' starting build order as close as I can). Then, the AI gets fast castle, before we can even consider advancing, and it is around that time that we get swarmed by enemy units.

It's like, I'm always constantly making villagers. I still suck so I still get pop capped before I remember to build the next house, I'm not optimal... but the fucking AI seems to pull units and resources out of its binary ass. I try to macro hard, but also making a few units so I'm not naked against the enemy. I don't stack up resources, I try to spend it smartly, keep making villagers, keep getting some unit/macro upgrades, even closing some chokepoints with pallisades and towers... But every time, the AI comes with more units and overwhelms us with a better macro somehow.

I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, it's literally as if the AI cheats resources (which I know they don't, since we are using the new AI).
