I played aoe2 for months, watched pro games, completed all the compaigns but still couldn't defeat the Hardest AI without trushing. Today I did it twice.

I discovered Aoe2 few months ago and ever since Im playing it. I learn some build orders but generally I clicked feudal at 25 pop. At that time Ai is already in feudal soon my base is under attck by archers and skirmishers. My economy is huge but i have no massed army and I am defeated. Yesterday I watched st4rk build orders for archer rush first won with Malay and then with Spanish ( I picked civs randomly and didn't even knew that I was playing as Spanish. I won both games.
I'll highly recommend st4rk YouTube channel for beginners. He not only has good build orders but also explains how many villagers are needed for each strategy.
